El viatge poètic de Gemma

This work, structured in two clearly contrasting sections, has as its main feature the dependence and indivisible bond generated between the violin and the cello while shaping the harmonic framework. They speak among themselves, their timbre and expressive registers soar while the piano remains in a continuous fluctuation that transports it to become a genuine medium where violin and cello develop their musical discourse. I wrote this trio inspired by a dreamy, sensitive girl. She embarked on her poetic journey and I decided to accompany her. Now, the girl has become an artistic and courageous woman who, to this day, is a source of inspiration and companion on my own particular musical journey.
