This volume from the Calaix de Solfa collection brings together nearly all the works Feliu Monné i Batallé composed for the gralla (Catalan shawm). The musical life of this composer coincided with what we could call 'the golden age of the gralla', and he was commissioned to write a large number of works by the collas (traditional bands) of the time. All the pieces are written in three parts, since at that time the colla bands featured three gralla players and a drummer.
