He was born in Barcelona. He studied in the CSMM of Barcelona, and obtained his title as a superior professor of guitar graduating with the highest marks.
He has toured giving recitals through Europe and South America.
Later, he studied composition with Vicenç Acuña, Lleonard Balada and David Padrós. Carles M. Eroles is member of the Asociación Catalana de Compositores (Catalan Association of Composers) and has composed works for guitar and chamber music for different instruments, some of which have been published. Some of his work has been played in, among other different places, the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea and the Sala Polivalente del Auditorio, in Barcelona and in the university of Carnegie Melon in Pittsburgh (U.S.A).
He has been awarded the special prize of the Asociación Catalana de Compositores (Catalan Association of Composers) in the X Premio Francesc Civil de Composición-Premios Ciudad de Girona 1998 (1998 City of Girona X Francesc Civil Prize of Composition-Prizes).
Carles M. Eroles is currently a guitar teacher in the Escuela de Música (Music School) of Santa Coloma de Gramanet.
