He studied piano at the Zaragoza Music Conservatory with Carmen Vázquez and María Pilar Armijo. In 1996 he continued his studies at the Cátedra Ignacio Marín, where he graduated with the highest marks.
He has participated in several piano master courses with Peter Bithell, Stanislav Potchekin, Rita Wagner, Paul Badura-Skoda, Silvia Torán and Elisa Agudíez, as well as in choir conducting master courses with Nicole Corti-Lyant and Martin Schmidt.
He is a piano, solfeggio, music theory, transposition and accompaniment professor, Doctor of Philosophy and Sciences of Education, as well as a professional expert in controls of stress by means of psychological techniques.
His research deals with the educational implications of emotional intelligence in music, as well as with ways of learning.
Due to his interest in ancient music, he collaborated, as a researcher, with the Cátedra de Música Medieval Aragonesa [Aragonian Professorship for Medieval Music] of the organisation “Fernando el Católico” (CSIC) and recorded four CDs with the Schola Gregoriana “Domus Aurea”. He won the second price at the Torneo Internacional de Musica for “Crítica discográfica” [“Record Reviews”] (1999).
He currently is a permanent piano teacher at the Zaragoza Music Conservatory and director of the virtual course for Emotional Intelligence and Music Learning (sixth round).
He is often asked to be a member of the jury of doctoral thesis and he is a regular rapporteur in courses, congresses and workshops.
