Coral and other Vocal Music
With the creation of the Cor Cabirol (Cabirol's Choir), 25 years ago, one of our goals, other than teaching the infants the most popular songs, has been working on the research, extension and renovation of the repertory of children's songs. The song's list promoted by the Cabirol is a long one, and an important part of them have been already published in the song book of the Secretariat de Corals Infantils de Catalunya (SCIC.)\n Now though, we present a group of unpublished songs: on one hand, a series of traditional Catalan songs harmonized for 2 or 3 voices; and on the other hand, songs from all over the world, adapted to the Catalan language and most of them accompanied by piano or other instruments.\n These are simple songs, with different degrees of difficulty, for singers of different ages: from the youngest to the ones that are already able to confront harmonies for two and three voices. A group of songs that agrees with the real possibilities of the SCIC's children's choirs, of which the Cabirol choir is a founder member.\n \n Són cançons simples, de diversos graus de dificultat, per a cantaires de diferents edats: des dels més petits fins els que ja poden enfrontar-se amb harmonies a dues i tres veus. Un recull, doncs, que s'avé amb les possibilitats reals de les corals infantils del SCIC, del qual el Cor Cabirol és membre fundador.
