This book is intended for use in recorder classes, and its contents correspond to the second year of elementary studies. It is a collection of pieces for playing and, like Frullato 1, is aimed at a very broad age-group, taking in students who started out at an earlier age and ones who started later ' taking up the recorder, for example, as their second instrument in intermediate studies. What they all need is a repertoire that is motivating and useful for classroom work, one that is adaptable to their age and musical level.
As in Frullato 1, you will find solo works (with piano or guitar accompaniment) and duos in this book. The accompaniments are to be played by the teacher or an advanced student, while the duos are intended for playing by students at the same level.
The chamber pieces, that combine the recorder with other instruments, have been published separately in the volume number 27 of the collection 'Da Camera' of the same editorial.
