Guitar Activity Book is a method of introduction to the guitar in three volumes for the smallest pupils (5-8 years). Learning to play the instrument goes together with learning musical language and theory, keeping a relationship between the skills and knowledge acquired in the two fields. It contains a wide variety of work: using games and stories to develop musical and motor sensitivity and develop the technical and theoretical aspects; melodies, accompaniments to songs, duets and trios (for pupils at the same level) 2-part pieces, exercises in improvisation, composition and transposition, etc. In this volume fantasy becomes the most important teaching apparatus for the learning of fundamental aspects of technique and musical theory.
The contents of this third volume are as follows:
Notes: Natural notes in first position on the 6 strings. /Transposition. Chords: D minor, new positions for G, C and G7. /Plucked notes: i-m, p-m, p-i. / Arpeggios on four strings with plucked notes. / Time values: 3 quavers. / Others: mezzo forte, crescendo, molto rit., andante, tied crotchets.
Musical pieces: 36
