The Violinafolk notebooks become a book and this way gather the materials of an interpretative violin practice led by Simone Lambregts. However, the pages you are holding in your hands are only a little part of it. These three notebooks meet the cultural need of writing down the last years’ spreading activity of folk violin, which seemed to be so silent in Catalonia. As a result of a whole path, this book constitutes some of this style’s, method’s, proposal’s or interpretative practice’s elements, or simply an alternative method to the more frequent academic or classical one.
